The Bayter Family, who began their agricultural journey in 1995 pushed boundaries to cultivate this unique micro-lot. Initially growing avocados, they pivoted to coffee in 2006 adding specialty varieties by 2016 under the guidance of Miguel Jimenez. By 2018, they embraced innovative processes like Koji fermentation and CM fermentation to unlock extraordinary flavors. Led by Martha Montenegro and partners Elias and Shady, El Vergel Estate blends technology with passion creating a coffee revolution in their community.
