The Colombia Queen Gesha is an exclusive micro-lot that reflects the innovation and dedication at El Vergel Estate. The Bayter family began the farm in 1995, originally cultivating avocados. In 2006, they shifted to coffee and started planting specialty varieties like Gesha.

Over the years, they have focused on quality and experimentation. Working with coffee expert Miguel Jimenez, the estate introduced advanced processing techniques to bring out exceptional flavor. One of their most important innovations has been Koji Fermentation, a unique method that adds depth and clarity to the cup.

Grown at high altitude, Colombia Queen Gesha offers a delicate, layered profile. Expect floral aromas, tea-like complexity, and a silky sweetness. Each sip delivers vibrant notes with a clean, lingering finish that has made Gesha one of the most sought-after varieties in specialty coffee.

Today, El Vergel Estate is led by Martha Montenegro with partners Elias and Shady. Together, they blend tradition, technology, and a passion for coffee to craft truly remarkable lots. In addition, they invest in the local community, creating jobs and supporting education programs.

Colombia Queen Gesha is ideal for those who appreciate elegant coffees with clear terroir expression. Whether you enjoy filter brewing or competition-style preparation, this coffee will elevate the experience in every cup.
