How to Find Scarab Coffee at Our New Warehouse — A Complete Guide to Visiting Us in Al Qusais
We Moved. Here's Why It Matters.
Finding a great roastery in Dubai has always required a little effort. The best ones don't tend to sit on high-traffic corners with neon signs. They're in industrial areas, down wide roads lined with warehouses, in buildings that look like they have nothing to do with coffee until you open the door and the smell hits you.
That's true of Scarab Coffee. And now more than ever.
We've relocated to a new, larger facility at JAMS Logistics Building on Al Doha Street in Al Qusais Industrial First — a space that finally matches the scale of what we actually do. The roasting equipment is bigger. The coffee bar is better. The capacity for workshops, tastings, and wholesale consultations has expanded significantly. The address is slightly harder to Google Maps your way to on the first try.
So we wrote this. Consider it your complete guide to finding us, getting here from wherever you're starting, and knowing exactly what to do once you walk through the door.

Getting Here: Every Option

By Metro — Green Line
This is the cleanest option if you're coming from central Dubai, Deira, or Bur Dubai. Al Qusais Metro Station is on the Green Line, which links the eastern side of the city with key destinations in Deira and Bur Dubai, and offers direct metro access to Dubai Airport Free Zone, Deira, and Bur Dubai. Take the Green Line to Al Qusais Metro Station. From there, the simplest connection to the industrial area is a short taxi or ride-hailing trip — Careem or Uber will get you to the warehouse door in under five minutes. Tell the driver JAMS Logistics Building on Al Doha Street, or simply show them the pinned location on your phone.
If you're coming from the Red Line, change at Union Station or BurJuman — both are direct interchange stations on the Green Line.
By Car — From Key Areas
From Downtown Dubai / Business Bay: Take Sheikh Zayed Road north, merge onto Al Ittihad Road heading toward Al Qusais. Follow signs for Al Qusais Industrial Area and navigate to Al Doha Street. Total drive time is roughly 20–25 minutes outside peak hours.
From Deira / Al Nahda: You're close. Head south on Damascus Street or Al Ittihad Road, turn into Al Qusais Industrial First, and find Al Doha Street. Allow 10–15 minutes.
From Dubai International Airport (DXB): Dubai International Airport can be reached from the Al Qusais area within a mere 15-minute car ride. The reverse journey is the same — exit the airport via Al Garhoud Bridge toward Al Ittihad Road, follow signs for Al Qusais, and navigate to the JAMS Logistics Building on Al Doha Street. It is one of the most convenient roastery visits you can make on a stopover or layover. Asalacoffee
From Sharjah: Cross into Dubai on Al Ittihad Road heading south. Al Qusais Industrial First is one of the first major industrial zones you reach after the border — the drive from central Sharjah takes around 15–20 minutes depending on traffic.

Parking
There are ample parking spaces in Al Qusais Industrial Area 1 for both residents and visitors. Commercial properties have their own parking space. The JAMS Logistics Building has free on-site parking directly at the facility. Pull into the compound and look for Warehouse 20. You won't need to hunt for a spot or pay — parking is straightforward. What to Do When You Arrive
The warehouse compound can feel a little unfamiliar the first time, especially if you're used to finding cafés on retail streets. Here's what to expect.
Pull into the JAMS Logistics Building compound on Al Doha Street. Follow the access road into the compound and look for Warehouse 20 — the signage will direct you once you're inside. The first thing you'll notice is the smell: roasting coffee, carried out through the ventilation even before you reach the door.
Walk in without hesitation. The space is open to visitors during operating hours. There's no booking required for a standard visit — just arrive, look around, and approach the coffee bar. Someone will greet you.
If you're coming for a workshop, a cupping session, or a B2B consultation, we recommend calling or emailing ahead to confirm timing and to make sure we have the right setup ready for you.
What's Waiting Inside

For first-time visitors, here's a quick orientation so you know what to expect from the space.
The roastery floor. The production equipment runs during operating hours. You'll see precision roasting in real time — roast profiles on screens, batches being monitored, the full visible process from green bean to finished roast. This isn't a display. It's the actual work happening around you.
The coffee bar. Freshly roasted single-origin coffees are available to taste as espresso, filter, or specialty preparations. Current offerings include the Colombia Queen Gesha, Ethiopia Guji Uraga, and the Costa Rica Musician Series — all available to drink in or take home as whole beans. Tell the barista your brew method and they'll grind fresh before you leave.
The retail section. Bags of freshly roasted coffee are available to purchase direct from the source. Roasted that week, grind specification included. If you're unsure what to buy, ask — the team will walk you through the current selection based on how you brew at home.
Workshops and sessions. Brewing classes, cupping experiences, barista training, and wholesale consultations are all bookable. If you run a café or are considering starting one, this is also the place to have that conversation — the team has built coffee programs for operators across the region.
A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Visit
This is a working roastery, not a café. The space is designed around production first, hospitality second — which is exactly what makes it interesting. Expect a workshop atmosphere: purposeful, focused, with the sound and smell of active roasting around you. It's nothing like a mall café and that's entirely the point.
The coffee is always fresh. Because we roast here, what you're drinking or buying was likely roasted within days — sometimes hours — of your visit. That's a level of freshness that simply isn't available anywhere else.
You don't need to know much about coffee to enjoy a visit. The team is used to guests at every level — from people having their first conversation about single-origin coffee to experienced roasters comparing notes on processing methods. There's no wrong way to show up.
Come hungry to learn. The people behind the bar want to talk to you about what you're drinking. Let them. You'll leave understanding something you didn't before.
